The Emerson Street Net-Zero Residence is a model of simplicity and sustainability, designed as a “better” option for new development and neighborhood density. The single building includes a main residence and an attached Accessory Dwelling Unit, both designed to be net-zero energy use. The landscape features include a zero-grade entrance for accessibility, a green roof, a permeable concrete driveway, and a low-maintenance palette of primarily native plants.
