Foster Road housing development transforms an empty parcel in a primarily single family residential neighborhood in southeast Portland into a multi-family housing complex for Habitat for Humanity. The landscape design provides private backyards for each of the residences as well as flexible spaces for the whole community. An open lawn, gathering plaza and naturescaped areas provide residents a well connected community and easy access to nature.
