The design for this large suburban lot includes outdoor living space to fit the midcentury character of the home, and generous sweeps of native planting to create a wildlife-friendly environment that celebrates Pacific Northwest plant communities. A spot in the yard that had been a problem drainage area was transformed into a wet meadow with grasses and wildflowers.
